(eap) Across a total area of 20 hectares, the Oceano Loisirs group operates O’Fun Park, O’Gliss Park and O’Tel Park in the western French municipality of Le Bernard (Vendée), comprising an adventure and activity park, an outdoor water park and Western-style accommodation facilities. The operator has now announced an investment programme worth 20 million euros, to be implemented by 2030, which – in addition to the uniform Western-style design of O’Fun Park – also includes the creation of several new attractions in this park as well as in the water park. The overall aim is to develop a fully integrated leisure destination while ensuring the long-term preservation of around 400 seasonal jobs.
In time for the start of the 2026 season in April, O’Fun Park will introduce a new water play area named “Gold Rush”, featuring water effects and slides (from DCA piscine & NDC). A small mini-farm designed in the style of an American ranch will also be added, along with the transformation of the existing “Water Jump” facility, which will be renamed “Rushwater Canyon”. The operator describes its future park concept as a “hybrid” model, which will combine the site’s existing active outdoor leisure activities (such as climbing, zipline & paintball) with new classical theme park experiences and attractions. In this context, a family-friendly roller coaster and three further rides (all supplied by Italian manufacturer Zamperla) are scheduled to open in 2027, with construction planned to begin in September next year. Additional new attractions are expected to follow in 2028 and 2029. Further large-scale additions are planned for 2030.
