Futuroscope Unveils New Immersive Experiences for 2026

La Serre des Mondes

The French theme park resort Futuroscope Xpériences – comprising the Futuroscope theme park and the Aquascope water park – recorded a total of 2.6 million visitors last year. This was announced today at a press conference, which also provided insights into the resort’s further development plans. Following the opening of “Mission Bermudes” last year as the final attraction of the 300 million euro investment programme “Vision 2025” (cf. EAP 5/2025), the park announced several new experiences for 2026. These will be implemented in refurbished existing pavilion buildings and will place a clear focus on innovation and immersion.

From February, the park will invite guests to discover “La Serre des Mondes” (located in the “Pavillon 360”), a 20-minute interactive walkthrough in which visitors, according to the storyline, assist a scientist in exploring mysterious plant-based organisms. The experience is realised using state-of-the-art technology in cooperation with the Canadian multimedia specialist Moment Factory. Also from February, a new dinosaur adventure will be presented in the “Omnimax Theater” (“T. Rex - Sur les traces d’un géant”), transporting guests back to the Cretaceous period via a 900-square-metre, 27-metre-high dome screen.

In April, the opening of the interactive parcours “Pulse! L’Odyssée électrique” is planned in the “Pavillon du Futuroscope”. The concept combines playful and educational elements to familiarise visitors with the challenges of the energy transition. The 1,200-square-metre exhibition is being developed in cooperation with the energy companies EDF and Dalkia.
