German SME Award: monte mare Again Receives Highest Honour

(eap) The monte mare group, which operates ten swimming pool and wellness facilities s in Germany, has once again received an award from the Oskar Patzelt Foundation. Last Saturday, the foundation presented the “Großer Preis des Mittelstandes 2026” at a gala in Düsseldorf under the motto “Trust Creates Opportunities”. Since 1994, the award has recognized medium-sized enterprises in Germany for their business development and social responsibility. The assessment considers company development, jobs and apprenticeships, innovation, regional engagement, as well as service and customer focus.

A total of 21 finalists and 18 award winners were honoured in front of 300 entrepreneurs and guests. Among them was monte mare Managing Director Patrick Doll (photo above; group photo: far left), who proudly accepted the “Premier-Ehrenplakette”, the foundation’s highest accolade. The group, which is based in Rengsdorf in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate, also received the audience award, which attendees decided through a live vote.
According to a statement from monte mare, the latest award recognized the collective efforts of all employees. It also serves as an incentive to continue actively shaping the company’s future. ■
