German Spy Museum Presents New Laser Course
(eap) At the German Spy Museum in Berlin, one of the museum’s most popular stations – the laser course, which has been experienced by over five million people in the past ten years – has been completely overhauled. Within just 24 days, a new experience was created that immerses guests in a story-driven mission: to prevent a looming nuclear disaster at a power plant.

At the core of the new attraction are two themed air pressure chambers in which a total of 48 laser barriers – 32 static and 16 movable – have to be overcome. Guests can choose between three levels of difficulty and move through the system by walking or crawling. One of the two chambers has been designed to be barrier-free so that wheelchair users can also take part.
The creative concept for the new Lazermaze comes from Creative Studio Berlin (CSB). The interactive course is not only a playful highlight of the museum visit but is also intended to serve as an activating interruption within the knowledge transfer – a physical challenge that supports the cognitive absorption process during the rest of the exhibition tour. ■
