Germany: Further Step in Construction Progress of “Rulantica“ at Europa-Park

In the biggest project in the history of Europa-Park, the construction of the new water world “Rulantica”, a further step in the construction site marks a move into the direction of opening the waterpark soon. The insertion of altogether five wooden structures, which will be carrying the roof of the water world, will be important for the building´s statics. The first wooden truss, which measures 50 meters in length, three and a half meters in width, four meters in height and has a weight of 62 ton, was inserted today with the aid of a 500 tons heavy crane.

Besides the new water world, which will open in the end of 2019 (cf. EAP-News 14.09.2017), another new hotel is under construction – “Krønasår“ will open in spring of 2019 (cf. EAP-News 28.06.2018). (eap)
