Germany: Hansa-Park Ready to Reopen for Summer Vacations

Following the decision of Germany’s Schleswig-Holstein federal state to further loosen the regulation guidelines for public life as of June 8th, leisure parks are now also allowed to open again. Sierksdorf-based Hansa-Park will reopen its facility on June 30th in due time for the start of the state’s school vacations. As did other parks, Hansa-Park will implement wide-ranging hygiene and safety measures for visitors and employees.

Due to the reduced attendance numbers, guests will be required to purchase their tickets online before visiting the park (online ticket sale starts today). Visitors who are older than six years will be required to wear a face mask in indoor facilities and shops as well as in attractions. The park’s shows, self-sevice restaurants and high-touch activities such as kids face painting and ropes courses will remain closed until further notice. In addition to enhanced hygiene measures the rules of social distancing will apply.

As a special surprise, season pass holders will be able to use their 2020 pass also in 2021. (eap)
