Germany: Hofis Erlebnispark Welcomes First Guests
(eap) After around one year of construction, Hofis Erlebnispark in Dasing, Bavaria, Germany, has opened its gates to visitors for the first time. Even before the official grand opening on May 1, 2026, which will also include the outdoor area, guests have been able to use the park’s indoor and gastronomy areas since last weekend. The amusement park is a project of the Hofreiter family, which has specialized for decades in the cultivation of strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and currants and already operates three BeerenCafés in the Munich area.

As part of the soft opening, visitors can try various gastronomic offerings such as fresh berry ice cream in the “Eiszaubeerei” or homemade berry “Datschies” in the “BeerenCafe” and experience different indoor attractions. These include, for example, the play area “Kraxl-Wald” as well as rides such as the Mini Tagada “Honigschleuder” and the Top Dancer “MähDreh” (both by SBF Visa).
“To see life entering our park and families finally discovering the areas we have been working on for so long is simply wonderful,” says Karin Hofreiter. “It’s really a special day for our family! To see how the next generation is building on our agriculture and the Munich BeerenCafés and creating something completely new here in our home region with Hofis Erlebnispark makes me very proud,” adds father-in-law, Josef Hofreiter. ■
