The Maya mare leisure swimming facility located in the German city of Halle (Saale) recently presented its plans for the bath’s new “Tulumaya” adventure area, for which construction works already began last Monday. The new zone will occupy a total area of 1,400 square meters and will offer exciting new water attractions, which will be supplied by the German-based water play equipment manufacturer Aquarena.

However, the “Mexican” leisure swimming facility does still not want to reveal more information on this project, until visitors can discover the “Tulumaya” area themselves when it opens on October 1st this year. According to Annette Waldenburger, Managing Director of Maya mare, the new offer especially aims to attract older children: “[…] With respect to new adventurous offers such as ropes courses, we at Maya mare also want to offer something special for families. So far, our kiddie splash area has served as an excellent playground for children aged zero to six. The new adventure area will be attractive for all our guests, especially for the older kids.”

During the construction period of two months, the younger ones can look forward to some special offers such as painting workshops, children’s sauna infusions and entertainers at Maya mare. (eap)
