Germany’s Serengeti-Park Hodenhagen, which is located in the federal state of Lower Saxony, recently announced changes in its senior management: Dr. Fabrizio Sepe is now the unique proprietor of the family-owned business after purchasing the company’s stakes owned by his sister and managing partner, Dr. Veronica Trussardi-Sepe.

Trussardi-Sepe, the daughter of the founder couple Paolo and Lia Sepe who opened the Serengeti-Park as an animal park in 1974, has left the management board to pursue new personal goals. “I have spent a great part of my youth at Serengeti-Park and thanks to my early engagement as an employee working in different departments I feel a deep affiliation to the company and its team. It is not easy for me to say goodbye but I’m delighted that the park stays in family ownership,” said Dr. Trussardi-Sepe.

Dr. Sepe and his cousin Giovanni Sepe will lead Serengeti-Park as Co-CEOs. “I thank my sister for the long-standing and close cooperation and her sacrificial dedication to our company. Together, we have continued our parents’ legacy with great success! The park has been recording increased attendance figures for many years now. We have made large investments and we will continue to do so to enhance our offer and to enthuse our guests! I feel happy for my sister that she can take new steps now,” said Dr. Sepe. (eap)
