Germany: Tropical Islands Provides New Water Fun for Kids with “Kraki Beach”

From today, younger guests in particular can look forward to new play and splashing fun at the Tropical Islands holiday resort in Brandenburg. The new “Kraki Beach” water play area has been built in the large hall over the past few months, offering various elements such as slides and water cannons along with complementary theming over a total area of around 215 square meters. About 30 children plus supervisors can play in the area at the same time. The new toddler area was implemented by the Dutch company Watergames & More, which collaborated with Jora Vision for the theming elements.

“After two turbulent years, we are delighted to finally be able to offer guests new attractions again,” says Thorsten Christopher Jung, General Manager of Tropical Islands, adding: “We have taken the wishes of our visitors to heart, who have missed a toddler area in particular in recent years.”

The new toddler area has been created as part of the 113-million-euro investment plan that the Spanish Parques Reunidos operating group has earmarked for the German leisure destination until 2026. The opening of a new Double Racer slide is scheduled for this fall, which will also be supplied by Watergames & More. Most recently (in the 2021 season), the resort welcomed more than half a million guests. (eap)
