Heide Park Resort: Jenny Blask Appointed New Managing Director

(eap) A change is taking place in the management of Heide Park Resort in Soltau: Peter Dunn, who worked for the leisure resort in Lower Saxony for more than two decades and served as its Managing Director for the past four years, is retiring. He will be succeeded by Jenny Blask, who will take over as the new Managing Director today and lead the future development of the amusement park operated by Merlin Entertainments.

Blask has many years of experience in the leisure industry and at Merlin Entertainments. She previously held a management position at Heide Park, which enabled her to develop a strong understanding of the resort, its guests and its development. She also managed SEA LIFE Hannover. Before being appointed Managing Director at Heide Park, she was responsible for several SEA LIFE attractions across Europe as Regional General Manager.

Peter Dunn is pleased to hand over the position of Managing Director to his colleague: “Jenny Blask not only brings extensive experience and a strong network, but above all a deep connection to Heide Park Resort. She knows northern Germany’s largest amusement park first-hand, has actively helped shape its development over many years and understands what makes this special place unique. It gives me great pleasure to now hand over the helm to her. I am firmly convinced that Heide Park Resort is ideally positioned under her leadership and will continue successfully into the future.”

Jenny Blask is looking forward to taking on her new responsibilities at Heide Park Resort: “I am delighted to be returning to Heide Park Resort and to see many familiar faces again.
