IAAPA Strengthens Leadership Team with New Appointments

(eap) The International Association of Amusement Parks & Attractions (IAAPA) announced the addition of three industry professionals to its leadership team and one internal promotion. Christy Spahn (photo: top, l.), previously working with the US National Restaurant Association, takes on the position of Vice President of Expo Sales and Operations. In her new role at IAAPA, she will lead the teams responsible for organizing IAAPA’s three annual trade shows, as well as sales related to the expos. Stacey Mills (photo: top, r.), a longtime IAAPA team member and most recently serving as Senior Director of Conference & Trade show operations, was promoted to Head of Global Expo Operations to oversee the development and alignment of all the three global expos (in Asia, Europe and Orlando/USA).

Two more industry professionals are joining the IAAPA leadership team: Jack Chan (photo: bottom l.), most recently Sales Director for the Asia Pacific region at accesso Technology Group, has been appointed Executive Director & Vice President of the IAAPA APAC office. He takes over the position from June Ko. The industry association also welcomes Jorge Cabrera (photo: bottom r.) as its new Senior Vice President for People Development. An experienced leader in talent development and organizational culture, Cabrera previously worked with companies such as Fun Spot, SeaWorld, Aeroméxico, and PepsiCo.
