With currently a total of more than 30 theme, leisure, water and animal parks in Spain, Great Britain, Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Belgium, Denmark (and Australia), the Spanish Parques Reunidos group ranks among Europe’s largest leisure facility operators. More about the group and its growth strategies can be found in our interview with COO Brad Loxley in EAP issue 1/2026. In addition, the Spanish operator is a close and long-standing customer of Mack Rides, the Waldkirch-based roller coaster manufacturer of the Mack family. The manufacturer used the meeting to present current developments and provide an opportunity for networking.
Roland and Jürgen Mack, owners of Europa-Park, as well as Michael Kreft von Byern, Director of Rulantica, presented novelties and innovations of the water world and provided insights into the Europa-Park Resort and its development into a short-break destination for more than seven million visitors annually from all over the world. ■
