Internorga 2024: New F&B Products, Gastronomy Trends & Concepts

(eap) Internorga, the leading international trade fair for the hospitality and restaurant industry, kicks off today in Hamburg with new products, trends and concepts for the out-of-home market. Through Tuesday, March 12, trade visitors and experts from the catering, hotel and hospitality industries can discover exciting developments in kitchen technology, food and beverages, restaurant and hotel equipment as well as new digital applications in several halls at Hamburg Messe & Congress.

The varied supporting program for the annual trade fair includes stage presentations such as “What The Food! – by foodlab”, where start-up entrepreneurs come together to inspire the industry with fresh ideas. In the “Pink Cube”, food trend researcher Karin Tischer will present the latest developments in the F&B sector in the form of short talks. In the “BACK Stage” area, young talents from the Hamburg Confectioners’ Guild will show how sugar, chocolate, marzipan etc. can be processed in a sophisticated way.

The networking offerings at this year’s trade fair event are once again broadly conceived: For example, gastronomy professionals and experts can take part in industry talks in the “Café FUTURE live”, exchange ideas in the “DEHOGA Club” and meet in an after-work lounge.

There are also various competitions, congresses and specials such as the “AI Center” with a focus on the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in catering businesses, the “Food Truck Village” in front of the Hamburg exhibition halls with a variety of mobile street-food kitchens and the presentation of awards such as the “INTERNORGA Future Prize”, which can also be followed via livestream. Digital participation is also possible in selected lectures and presentations.

Read about interesting trends and developments we discovered especially for leisure facilities at Internorga in the next EAP magazine issue (to be published on May 2nd). ■
