(eap) Swedish activity park operator JumpYard is continuing its expansion in Germany: The chain’s second German location is scheduled to open in Frankfurt-Griesheim by the end of this year. The approximately 4,000-square-metre indoor activity park is being developed on the premises of a former cinema and is expected to become JumpYard’s 30th park in Europe.

As at its existing locations, the range of attractions and activities will extend well beyond trampolining. In addition to various trampoline areas, the park will feature climbing attractions, slides, interactive games and a “SkyRider” zipline attraction. A separate “Jumpy” play and activity area will cater to the youngest guests. Special packages for birthday parties, school groups, sports clubs and corporate events are also planned, along with a food and beverage area.
“Frankfurt is an important next step in our expansion in Germany,” explains Pelle Möller, CEO of JumpYard. “We want to create a place that offers far more than what many people associate with a trampoline park. The size and unique character of the former cinema give us exciting opportunities to bring together a wide variety of activities for different age groups and provide our guests with plenty of good reasons to return.”

With the new location, JumpYard aims to further develop its leisure concept under the brand promise “Seriously Fun”, appealing to different age groups and target audiences. Founded in Sweden in 2017, the company made its debut in Germany in April this year with the opening of an approximately 3,500-square-metre indoor activity park at the MERCADO shopping centre in Nuremberg. In addition to Germany, JumpYard currently operates parks in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Spain and Portugal. An exact opening date for the Frankfurt location has yet to be announced. ■
