LEGOLAND New York Opens New Water Playground

(eap) As of this Memorial Day weekend, visitors to LEGOLAND New York Resort, which opened two years ago, can now also enjoy a water play area for a splashy cool-down on warm summer days. The new area attracts visitors with several new attractions and play features: for example, boats can be built out of LEGO bricks and sent into a race. There are several water slides and a water play structure (an “AquaPlay 1050” from WhiteWater West) with a water bucket that holds over 1,000 liters and empties regularly – anyone who happens to stand under the bucket will get wet. Likewise, a changing area is available for guests to continue exploring the total of seven themed areas in Legoland on dry feet.

“New York summers are hot – which is one of the reasons we’re excited to give families a place to cool off this year. We have no doubt our water playground will become the heart of the park this season with its four water slides and new creative building opportunities for kids. Everything we do is for the love of fun, and we’re committed to building unforgettable offerings that will keep families coming back to our Resort again and again,” comments Stephanie Johnson, LEGOLAND New York Resort Divisional Director. ■
