Management Change at Silvretta Therme Ischgl
(eap) Silvretta Therme in Ischgl (Tyrol, Austria) recently announced a change in its management team: After more than three years at the helm of the thermal spa, which is operated by Silvrettaseilbahn AG, Andreas Ramsauer stepped down from his position as Managing Director at the end of August to take on new entrepreneurial challenges. The leadership has been handed over to an internal candidate.
Ramsauer had been involved in the development process of the spa, which opened at the end of 2022 (see our report in EAP 2/2023), from the very beginning and looks back on more than two decades of industry experience. In addition to senior positions at different spa facilities, Ramsauer also volunteered for many years with the European Waterpark Association e.V. (EWA), most recently serving on the board. With his departure from the thermal spa and leisure pool sector, his role as Vice President of the association also came to a statutory end. A successor for this position will be elected at the EWA’s upcoming general assembly in October. Looking ahead, Ramsauer plans to dedicate himself to new challenges: together with a private investor team, he aims to realize a new concept that he co-developed – a project he describes as a personal new beginning.
As of 1 September, Christine Senn (pictured here) has taken over Ramsauer’s responsibilities at Silvretta Therme. The new division manager brings with her many years of leadership experience in gastronomy and hospitality, including roles as Managing Director of Plangger Delikatessen and Deputy Operations Manager at Bergbahnen Samnaun. Most recently, she worked as a trainer at the adult education school in the KAOS Competence Center for Gastronomy in Landeck. With her expertise in staff management, training, and operational organization, Senn is now set to guide the future development of the spa. ■
