Medieval Jousting Tournament at France's Cobac Parc
(eap) Located around 25 minutes from Saint-Malo and Rennes, Cobac Parc in Brittany – the amusement park with its outdoor water park is part of Looping Experiences, formerly Looping Group – has expanded its offering this summer with a new family adventure. In the “La Zone Contes et Légendes” themed area, a new riding attraction called “Le Tournoi des Ecuyer” (Eng.: The Squires’ Tournament”) has opened. Three knightly competitors can race against each other on parallel tracks. Using their own muscle power, riders propel their horses forward and compete in a race. The attraction is open to guests from a minimum height of 100 centimeters.
The new attraction is the Sunrider model supplied by German manufacturer Sunkid Heege. Depending on the customer’s requirements, the family ride can be equipped with individually themed vehicles. Read more about the history of the manufacturing company in our BusinessReport article “50 Years of Family Rides” in EAP 4/2026.
Also new to Cobac Parc’s visitor offering this summer is “Le Labyrinth de Coby”, a walk-through corn maze featuring interactive elements. As part of another medieval-themed quest, visitors must not only find their way through the maze, but also search for clues and solve puzzles in order to track down the “hidden Grail”. An additional charge of five euros per guest applies for the corn maze. ■
