Netherlands: Toverland Expands Management Team

v.l.n.r.: Paul Oomen (Technischer Leiter), Caroline Kortooms (General Manager), Carin van Berkel (Commercial Director) und Teun Dielesen (Operational Director).

Following the addition of Commercial Director Carin van Berkel to Toverland’s management team last month (we reported on this in EAP 2/2018), the Dutch amusement park has now announced to expand their management team to include Teun Dielesen as new Operational Director. The 23-year-old will take over responsibility for the operational departments of the park (hospitality, retail, staff & organisation, planning and operations) in order to ensure further growth and guest satisfaction. “My aim is to help make this fantastic family business one of the largest and most beautiful leisure destinations of Europe,“ says Dielesen.

Dielesen has been working at Toverland for five years, most recently as Manager Attractions; for three years he has been the son-in-law of General Manager Caroline Kortooms. Dielesen studied business administration at the Universities of Maastricht and Amsterdam, with a focus on strategy. Caroline Kortooms and her brother Jean Gelissen (General Manager of Gelissen Group) will support Dielesen when taking over his new position. Prior to this, he will hand over his previous tasks. In the future, the new management team of Attractiepark Toverland will consist of Caroline Kortooms, Technical Director Paul Oomen, Carin van Berkel and Teun Dielesen. (eap)
