(eap) At Karls Erlebnis-Dorf Rövershagen near Rostock (Germany), the first location of the Karls Erlebnis-Dörfer, with which the company’s success story began in 1993, visitors have been able to experience more than 19 new offerings since last weekend. Spread across the grounds, new attractions, play options and gastronomy stations have been created.

The new rides and experiences include, among others, the “Schlamm drüber – Offroad Rallye”, where young guests can drive in mini jeeps past wooden walkways, through tunnels and over muddy terrain. Things are a little more relaxed on the “Tregger-Tonnen Tour”, where up to 20 people can be transported at the same time over the country route towards the maize maze. The latter returns on July 17, 2026, after a nine-year break and once again invites visitors to wind their way through the maize corridors. Further driving fun is offered in the “Bumper Car Scheune”, where bumper cars in tractor tyres design await guests. In winter, the covered hall is intended to be transformed into an ice-skating rink. In “Kirmes Kurios” area, visitors can also put their skill and accuracy to the test at various coin games.

In addition, several new playground structures have been created. These include, among others, the “Container-Spielplatz”, where each container holds new surprises, the “Kletter-Erdbeere” play structure, a playground zip line, the “Po-Rutsche” – a slide ride down the hill –, the “Reifen-Hopsen-Spielplatz” with real tractor tyres, as well as an accessible playground carousel. With “Gold Rush Oxnard”, gold panning and treasure hunting for children is also offered, while the “Beach Bucket Challenge” at “Muscle Beach” is designed as a fun station for testing strength.
Like Gold Rush Oxnard and Muscle Beach, the “California Strawberry Swirl” also refers to the planned Karls location in Oxnard, California. The new ice cream creation consists of vanilla soft serve with strawberry swirl, fresh strawberries and a touch of “gold dust”. The gastronomy offer in Rövershagen is complemented by further new F&B stations, including “Raupi Nimmersatt”, “Mais Mais Baby”, the “Erdbeer-Café Elisabeth”, “Brezeln, Brause, Bier” and the “Pommes Schranke”. ■
