(eap) Among the new products and solutions developed specifically for the leisure and attractions industry, a wide range of interesting innovations can be found, including from suppliers. At the recent IAAPA Expo in Orlando, not only new ride concepts, management tools, and software applications were presented, but also a new epoxy filler compound, which was awarded a “Brass Ring Award” by the international industry association IAAPA in the category “Exhibits, Thematic Displays, and Supplies”.

The synthetic resin compound “RAKU® TOOL EZ-PZ Light” from Rampf Group, Inc. – a US-based subsidiary of the German Rampf Group, which specialises in reaction resins and machine systems – is said to offer designers and architects flame-retardant properties and therefore a particularly high level of safety. In addition, the lightweight thermosetting plastic is described as easy to process, durable, and stable. Furthermore, according to the manufacturer, the material is non-sticky, allowing for the modelling of fine details. Vertical surfaces can also be processed using the new epoxy technology. Depending on the specific project requirements – for example surface design, the shaping of decorative elements, or the embossing of textures – different epoxy filler compounds are recommended for application.

An overview of all Brass Ring Award winners 2025 can be found in our EAP news dated 20 Nov 2025. A selection of further product innovations and noteworthy projects presented at the trade show in Orlando is featured in our trade fair report in the latest EAP magazine issue no. 1/2026. ■
