(eap) Busch Gardens Tampa Bay in Florida (USA) has opened “Wild Oasis”, a new, family-friendly themed area. The area is based on a tropical rainforest environment and offers interactive play opportunities as well as animal encounters and a gastronomic offer. “We are thrilled to officially open Wild Oasis to all our guests,” said Brian Bacica, Park President of Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. “This vibrant, rainforest-inspired realm is filled with incredible animal habitats, immersive attractions and hands-on play areas designed to entertain, educate and inspire. It’s an unforgettable adventure for the whole family.”

The main attractions include the “Canopy Climb” climbing and play structure with over 200 feet (60 meters) of horizontal climbing trails, and vertical climbs reaching up to 45 feet (14 meters) high as well as the “Enchanted Falls” water play area with fountains and spray towers. The area also includes the “Treetop Drop” ride, a 35-foot (approx. ten-meters) drop tower for children.

True to the park’s identity as a zoological and theme park, there are also animal inhabitants in the new area. In the “Habitat Hideaway”, visitors can observe various animal species, including capybaras, giant anteaters, squirrel monkeys and tropical bird species. The quick-service restaurant “TOMA at Orang Café” offers Latin American-inspired dishes. ■
