(eap) The European leisure landscape has grown: In the Polish municipality of Brojce, located approximately 20 minutes by car from the Baltic Sea port city of Kołobrzeg, the new Hossoland theme park officially opened its doors today. Covering an area of around 40 hectares, the project was developed by the Hosso Group, a company previously known primarily for operating several shopping centres in north-western Poland.

Thematically inspired by the legends, folklore and cultural heritage of Northern Europe and the Baltic Sea region, Hossoland aims to provide a family-friendly leisure offering for both local visitors and tourists from neighbouring countries.

The park is divided into four themed zones: “Mermaid City” (Miasto Syrenki), “Viking Land” (Kraina Wikingów), “Baltambrya” and “Dragon Valley” (Smocza Dolina). Across these areas, guests find more than twenty themed attractions, including rides, playgrounds, two theatres with daily live performances, and various food and beverage options.

According to the park, several attractions are not yet operational at launch, including the “Flying Motors” and “Marina Carousel” rides, the “Hossolino” park train and the interactive water attraction “Fjord”. All other attractions are open to the public, including the Junior Coaster “Mermaid Ride”, the Family Coaster “Thor” and the Suspended Family Coaster “Aurora” – three roller coasters manufactured by Dutch supplier Vekoma. In addition, guests can meet the park’s two mascots, “Leo” and “Lilly” – two Pomeranian dogs that are set to become the friendly faces of Hossoland. ■
