Oxygen Activeplay to Open 19th Indoor Activity Park in England

The new Oxygen Crawley indoor activity park offers families a wide range of play and activity options, including trampolines, slides and interactive attractions.

(eap) British indoor activity park operator Oxygen Activeplay is preparing to open its 19th location in England. The new Oxygen Crawley, situated at Crawley Leisure Park, around 80 kilometres south of London, is set to open its doors this Friday, 16 October. More than two million euros have been invested in the new leisure facility, which will offer families a wide range of play and physical activities.

The experience begins as soon as visitors enter the park: The illuminated “Excite Tunnel”, designed to build anticipation through a variety of sensory effects, leads guests into the main activity area. Here, more than 40 trampolines invite visitors to jump and bounce to their hearts’ content. The offering is complemented by a giant airbag for soft landings after jumps from a height, two colourful slides and numerous other play and activity options.

Interactive attractions are also part of the experience: On the “Interactive Sports Pitch”, electronic targets and sensors transform traditional ball games into digital challenges. In the “Interactive Strike Zone” and on the “I-Wall”, visitors can put their speed and reflexes to the test, competing against each other and scoring points through targeted body movements. Making its debut is the “Interactive Pixel Floor”, where players use their feet to complete various challenges against the clock. Oxygen Crawley will be the operator’s first location to feature this attraction.

For children aged five and under, a dedicated soft play area offers opportunities to climb, play and explore. During the daily “Toddler Play” sessions, younger guests can also discover the entire park without older children around. Special “SEN Peaceful Play” sessions cater to visitors who prefer a calmer, quieter and less stimulating play environment.

The offering is rounded off by an on-site café serving drinks, snacks and meals, as well as four different children’s birthday party packages. According to the operator, the opening of the new indoor activity park will also create more than 60 jobs. ■
