(eap) Panorama-Park in Kirchhundem, in Germany’s Sauerland region, is set to open a special new attraction tomorrow: “Ramas Rutschriese” is a major new addition to the regional leisure and amusement park and, at a height of 32 metres, ranks among the tallest installations of its kind worldwide.
The slide tower also offers a platform for panoramic views. // Photo: atlantics
A total of ten slides descend from different starting points and levels of the tower, which also features a panoramic platform and a viewing net offering vistas across the surrounding mountainous region. All slides are made of stainless steel and were supplied by atlantics, a manufacturer based in Döbeln, Saxony. The models range from an XXL spiral tunnel slide with translucent portholes and a racing slide with jump sections and panoramic windows to a bobrun tunnel slide, on which a maximum speed of 45 km/h is said to be possible.
