(eap) The Swedish operator group Parks and Resorts Scandinavia – whose portfolio includes Gröna Lund, Kolmården, Furuvik and Skara Sommarland – is currently searching for a new Group CEO. Christer Fogelmarck (pictured), the current CEO, will leave the company on 31 May to assume the role of CEO at the Swedish tourism and hospitality industry organization and employer association Visita. There he has been a board member since 2023. The search process for a successor at Parks and Resorts has already begun.

“I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to Christer for these years. His energy, commitment, and leadership have played an important role in the development of Parks and Resorts. I wish him every success in his new role – one that will undoubtedly keep our paths closely connected going forward. We have an exciting period ahead of us, with significant investments planned across our parks in the years to come. It will be very interesting working with the Board to find the best person suitable to lead us into the future,” says Mattias Banker, Chairman of the Board at Parks and Resorts.

The operator group employs approx. 4,500 people per season and welcomes around three million visitors annually across its parks. Group turnover amounts to 1.6 billion Swedish kronor (around 149 million euro). ■
