Peppa Pig Park Coming to Germany in 2024

Peppa Pig Park opens in 2024 as the first amusement park experience for the target group of preschoolers in Günzburg.

(eap) Next year, a Peppa Pig Park is scheduled to open in Günzburg, Bavaria, in the immediate vicinity of LEGOLAND® Deutschland Resort, where everything will be dedicated to the little pig and her friends known from the popular children’s TV series. This will mark the launch of the EU’s first independent Peppa Pig Park in Germany, just in time for the 20th anniversary of the “Peppa Pig” brand. A colorful mix of attractions (various rides, water fun, interactive activities and shows), tailored to families with children of preschool age, await future guests here at the start of the 2024 season. There is one Peppa Pig theme park in the world so far; it is located in the direct vicinity of LEGOLAND® Florida Resort in the US and was opened there in 2022. Another Peppa Pig park is also scheduled to open in 2024 in the Dallas-Fort Worth region of the US state of Texas.

Manuela Stone, LEGOLAND Deutschland Managing Director, is already looking forward to the new leisure experience and the cooperation with the US toy manufacturer Hasbro: “We see it as a confirmation in our location in Günzburg, Bavaria, that our parent company Merlin Entertainments continues to invest and that we can grow here at the LEGOLAND site.”

Matt Proulx, Vice President of location-based entertainment at Hasbro, added: “The success of the first Peppa Pig theme park has been phenomenal and we are excited to continue the journey with our friends at Merlin to bring the first Peppa Pig park to our fans and families in Europe. The opening of another Peppa Pig theme park is the next step in our Blueprint 2.0 strategy, which aims to provide families with even more opportunities to experience our brands. We have a lot planned for Peppa’s big anniversary year in 2024 and can’t wait for guests of all ages to visit Bavaria to create lifelong memories with Peppa and her friends.” ■
