Playground Equipment Provider Lappset Presents New Product Line “Prime”

(eap) Lappset, a family-owned company based in Rovaniemi, Finland, has launched a new premium playground collection whose design aims to combine form, function, and user experience in a clear, Nordic-inspired design language. The new product line combines playful accents with nature-inspired elements and features a modular architecture that can be scaled to suit the space available.
In developing the Prime collection, the manufacturer has also placed an emphasis on inclusion. This is based on an inclusivity assessment model developed in cooperation with the Finnish Paralympic Committee. According to the manufacturer, the facilities are designed to offer opportunities for movement, discovery, and interaction for children with different abilities. Sustainability aspects were also taken into account in the design of Prime: the company uses regionally sourced, renewable pine wood and energy from renewable sources for production. The modular structure of the product line is also intended to enable scalable and thus tailor-made, cost-efficient solutions for play areas of different sizes.
