Concept Art: Brogent
Several new developments were showcased by the Taiwanese company Brogent, which has expanded its product range of simulator and flying theater attractions with a new motion theater called “R-Ride”. The installation is a 360-degree rotation platform equipped with a fully surrounding panoramic screen as well as motion-based seating units. The system rotates at a speed of eight revolutions per minute and is designed to immerse guests directly in a media-based thrill experience. Possible themes include a sandstorm or an attack by monster creatures, according to the manufacturer. R-Ride is to be implemented for the first time at a theme park operated by the VinWonders Group in Vietnam, with its opening scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2027.
Brogent expands its "Volare Over Earth" flying theater film series with "Japan".
In addition, Brogent has expanded its “Volare Over Earth” flying theater film series. Alongside the existing titles “Africa” and “Niagara”, the contents “Japan” and “Switzerland” are now also available. In future, the film series is expected to comprise a total of twelve titles. Furthermore, Brogent announced a strategic collaboration with Japanese entertainment producer Toho Global Inc., whose IP portfolio includes the “Godzilla” brand, among others. Together, the two partners are working on the flying theater experience “Godzilla The Ride: Great Clash”, written and directed by Academy Award® winner Takashi Yamazaki. ■
