RWS Global Strengthens Leadership Team Amid Critical Markets Expansion
(eap) The internationally active live entertainment company RWS Global has announced two strategic leadership appointments against the backdrop of its ongoing operational expansion in key global markets. Since 2024, RWS Global has, according to the company, nearly doubled the number of theme parks it serves annually.
The team will, among others, be strengthened by Kathy Bagshaw, who has been appointed Senior Advisor, Operations. In this role, she is expected to focus on further developing operational excellence in major leisure parks, including facilities operated by Merlin Entertainments. Bagshaw has more than 25 years of experience from the events and entertainment division of Merlin Entertainments and is expected to play a key role in the further expansion of RWS Global’s impact across destinations worldwide. She is to support the development, production, and day-to-day delivery of live entertainment across Merlin locations. This follows the strategic partnership between RWS Global and Merlin announced in 2025.
In addition, AJ Gardner has been appointed General Manager of RWS Global’s newly established Middle East headquarters in Riyadh. In this position, he is expected to drive the company’s long-term investments in the region. Gardner is said to have extensive experience in strategy and operations, as well as in-depth regional market expertise. Most recently, he served as Manager of Entertainment and Events at Six Flags Qiddiya City. Prior to that, he held positions at Dubai Parks & Resorts as well as at other major entertainment companies in the Middle East. Based on his background in creative production, operations management, and live event strategy, he is considered well positioned to support RWS Global’s continued growth and partnership expansion across the market.
