(eap) Seabreeze Amusement Park in Rochester (U.S. state of New York) has announced the addition of a new large-scale family slide to its water park, scheduled to open in summer 2026. Guests can look forward to a dual slide designed for two-person rafts, offering a varied ride layout.

On two parallel lanes with identical layouts, riders will be able to start side by side. Three so-called “Rally Points” along the course will open up views of the adjacent lane, enhancing the race atmosphere. Further ride elements include one saucer element for high-speed turns, a hive section designed to generate strong G-forces, as well as enclosed slide parts intended to create surprise effects.

“We’re thrilled to bring this next-generation family experience to our water park. At Seabreeze, creating fun, safe, and memorable moments for families has always been our priority and this new racing slide is the perfect way to continue that tradition,” said Genevieve Norris-Brown, Chief Operating Officer at Seabreeze.

With the new slide, the water park continues its more than 35-year-long cooperation with ProSlide. The installation will be located directly next to the wave pool and will be complemented by an expansion of the lounge areas. ■
