(eap) From the end of November until early April 2027, visitors to Silvretta Arena, the high-altitude Austrian ski resort spanning Ischgl and Samnaun, will once again be able to explore a LEGO® Experience World. Among the highlights of the cooperation between the Paznaun – Ischgl Tourism Association, LEGO GmbH and Silvretta Seilbahn AG, now entering its fourth year, is a new “magical snow art exhibition” themed around “Harry Potter™ – LEGO® & HBO MAX”. International artists will create the exhibition between 10 and 15 January 2027, with the finished sculptures accessible via the Flimjochbahn or Idjochbahn lifts from 16 January. A LEGO fan exhibition will also be presented at the “Pardorama” mountain restaurant, while two cable cars will each feature a LEGO-themed cabin.

Ten extraordinary snow sculptures are planned for the Harry Potter snow art exhibition: five inspired by LEGO® Harry Potter™ and another five by the upcoming HBO Original series “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone”, which will premiere on the video-on-demand platform HBO Max this Christmas. Visitors wishing to admire the finished sculptures will need skis or a snowboard, as the artworks will be located on ski slopes and cannot be reached on foot.

Another highlight of the LEGO Experience World at Silvretta Arena will be a life-size replica of the “McLaren P1” on Idalp. A team of 23 specialists assembled the sports car from the LEGO® Technic range using exactly 342,817 pieces, investing a total of 8,344 working hours. In addition, the Pardorama mountain restaurant will host “the world’s highest LEGO exhibition”, showcasing selected creations by the LEGO fan community. Admission to the exhibition is included in the ski pass or, for visitors without skis or a snowboard, in the pedestrian ticket. Throughout the winter season, a changing programme of building activities will invite visitors of all ages to get creative and bring their own ideas to life.

Another new feature for the upcoming winter season will be a LEGO-themed cabin on each of the Silvrettabahn and 3-S Pardatschgratbahn cable cars. One cabin will be themed around “LEGO® Star Wars™”, while the other will feature designs inspired by LEGO® Technic.
Rounding off the upcoming edition of the LEGO Experience World will be the free “Ischgl Explorer Pass”. This multilingual scavenger hunt will be available at the cable car stations, the tourist information office and Silvretta Therme. LEGO figures and models will be hidden throughout Silvretta Arena for visitors to discover. Those who find all the stations will receive a small surprise…
Alexander von der Thannen, President of the Paznaun – Ischgl Tourism Association, emphasises: “The LEGO brand has been a strong partner of Ischgl for four winters now. This continuity demonstrates how well two internationally renowned brands complement each other in creating special experiences and inspiring people across generations. Long-term partnerships like this strengthen our positioning and generate attention in international markets. At the same time, the LEGO experiences underline our commitment to continuously developing Ischgl and offering our guests extraordinary holiday experiences that leave lasting memories.” ■
