Six Flags Qiddiya City to Open on 31 December
(eap) It’s now official: in 44 days, the Six Flags Qiddiya City theme park – the first Six Flags theme park in the Middle East, developed as part of the Saudi Arabian government’s “Vision 2030” initiative – will officially open on December 31. While there was recently uncertainty as to whether the opening would still take place by the end of 2025 or rather in the first half of 2026, the opening date has now been confirmed via the park’s social media channels. Tickets are available now.
Highlights of the park, which will be operated by the Six Flags Group on behalf of the Qiddiya Investment Group together with the equally new Aquarabia Water Theme Park, include thrill rides such as “Falcons Flight” (Intamin) and “Iron Rattler” (Vekoma), as well as other family-friendly attractions such as the family dark ride “The Enchanted Greenhouse” (ETF Ride Systems/Alterface/Jora Vision). ■
