(eap) The U.S.-based indoor park brand Slick City Action Park announced plans to expand internationally for the first time in cooperation with Norwegian trampoline park operator Activeon (formerly Rush Group), bringing its park franchise to Europe. According to the company, the rollout is already underway and is set to take place across multiple European markets. The first Slick City park outside the U.S. is scheduled to open in the UK by the end of 2025, with further UK locations and an expansion into continental Europe to follow in spring 2026.

“We’ve had tremendous international interest in Slick City since launching just a few years ago, but we were intentional in making Activeon our first partner outside the U.S.,” said Bron Launsby, CEO and Founder of Slick City. “Their unmatched industry expertise, proven operational excellence and understanding of our slides and technology make them the ideal choice to bring Slick City to Europe. With their scale and reach, we’re confident this partnership will set the standard for what’s possible in indoor family entertainment globally. We anticipate the rollout speed in Europe to reach the same pace as we have seen in the US and look forward to opening over 50 locations in the next few years.”

“This concept is industry-defining for indoor leisure,” said Petter Haagaas, Chief Development Officer and Founder of Activeon. “Slick City offers something truly fresh and dynamic- it’s pure adrenaline indoors. We are thrilled to confirm our first opening in the UK for late 2025, with a large pipeline of projects to follow across the UK, Germany and other European countries shortly after.”

Founded in 2021 and headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, Slick City has rapidly grown to more than 95 locations across 32 U.S. states (either already open or still in development). By the end of this year, an additional twelve to fourteen U.S. sites are expected to be added. The brand is known for its patented dry slides, which are used with a specially designed sliding mat. Activeon, established in 2016, currently operates 74 trampoline parks across eight European countries, welcoming more than seven million visitors annually. The company’s portfolio (majority ownership held by private investment firm Equip Capital) includes well-known brands such as AirHop, JumpHouse, and Superfly. ■
