Splish Splash Water Park to Open New “Stingray Bay“ Water Play Area

(eap) This Saturday, June 14, “Stingray Bay”, a new water playground for the youngest, will open at Splish Splash Water Park in Calverton, New York. Three kid-friendly waterslides, six interactive spray features, five additional water play elements and a dump bucket are designed to provide fun for families with young children. “This interactive water play area is the perfect addition to the park, offering something our smallest guests can enjoy while teens and above tackle our thrilling park favorites like Bootlegger’s Run, Alien Invasion, and Hyperlight,” explains General Manager Mike Bengtson. The water playground was supplied by Vortex Aquatic Structures International.

In addition to the new play structure for the youngest children, two new cabanas have also been added to the park this season. The cabanas, named “Paradise Pavilion” and “Hang Ten Hideaway”, are located directly in front of the “Kahuna Bay” wave pool and offer a mixture of sun and shade areas with seating, a kitchen and private shower area. In addition, the “Neon Nights” event will be held for the first time, where visitors can expect lights and sounds with a live DJ under starry skies at night from July 11 to August 16. ■
