(eap) With a newly realigned partnership, RMS Titanic & Storyland Studios are focusing on international growth and immersive experience formats based on the heritage of the famous ocean liner. Ben Thompson, Chief Strategy Officer at Storyland Studios, will lead the global brand development of Titanic.

The announcement follows a year-long collaboration between RMS Titanic and Storyland Studios. The joint vision focuses on expanding the brand worldwide through fresh momentum, strategic partnerships and innovative formats. TITANIC: The Artifact Exhibition – operated by E/M Group – is supposed to be one of the world’s most visited touring exhibitions, having attracted over 36 million visitors to date. This potential is now to be further developed, not only in established markets such as North America and Europe, but also in emerging experiential destinations across Latin America, Asia, and the Middle East.

Kris Soder, CEO of E/M Group and sole director of RMS Titanic, emphasized: “We believe strongly in the power of collaboration and imagination to carry Titanic’s legacy forward. The next chapter will expand our reach while honoring the stories and history that continue to resonate with millions worldwide.”

“I’m incredibly excited that Kris and the team at RMS Titanic are continuing to place their trust in Storyland as a strategic partner as we set out on this new adventure together. […] I couldn’t be more thrilled to have been given this opportunity to lead the strategic development of this iconic property,” said Thompson.

The new strategy spans a diverse range of formats – from museum exhibitions and themed attractions to immersive installations. RMS Titanic and Storyland Studios are now seeking collaboration partners from the cultural sector, real estate development, and licensing to shape the next chapter in the ongoing success of the Titanic brand. ■
