The View Palm Jumeirah Celebrates Anniversary with New Experience

(eap) Dubai’s observation attraction The View Palm Jumeirah is celebrating its fifth anniversary with a new addition: Visitors with a head for heights can now step onto “The Ledge at the View”, a series of new glass ledges extending from the observation deck, offering unobstructed views of the palm-shaped island and Dubai’s skyline, as well as breathtaking views straight down.

Four overlook the palm-shaped extensions and outer crescent of Palm Jumeirah against the backdrop of the Arabian Gulf, while the other four face Dubai’s skyline. This allows guests to enjoy panoramic views in all directions. At the same time, The Ledge at the View is designed to become an attractive new photo spot for visitors to capture memorable moments, which are often shared across social media.

Since opening in 2021 – in time for Expo 2020 (read also our report on the World Expo in EAP 2/2022) – The View Palm Jumeirah has welcomed several million visitors from 130 countries, according to its own information. The new observation experience, The Ledge at the View, is included in the regular admission price. ■
