Tripsdrill Builds New Water Playground
(eap) A new water playground is currently being built at Germany’s Erlebnispark Tripsdrill amusement park and is expected to open at the end of June. Around twenty interactive water play elements are to cool off on hot days directly in front of the giant swing “Wilde Gautsche” (ART Engineering), which opened last year. Covering an area of around 70 square meters, fountains, water cannons and drop showers – themed as St. Andrew’s crosses and signal systems, among other elements – invite visitors to join in. The layout is designed in the style of the Swabian railroad world around 1880, which is also the theme of the “Volldampf” roller coaster (Vekoma) and the Wilde Gautsche. The manufacturer of the water playground is Watergames & more - a Vortex company.
Parallel to the realization of this novelty, the ground-breaking ceremony for a new large-scale construction project with experience gastronomy recently took place at Tripsdrill (see EAP-News of 8 Apr 2025). ■
