Two New Family Attractions Announced for Fraispertuis-City
(eap) An anniversary is approaching: In 2026, the Western-themed amusement park Fraispertuis-City, located in the Vosges region in eastern France, will celebrate its 60th year of operation. Visitors can already look forward to two new family attractions – situated close to the most recently opened family flat ride “Sawmill” (cf. EAP 4/2025), the Vekoma family boomerang “Fireline Redwood” and a family drop tower supplied by Zierer are taking shape.
The 208-metre-long family coaster will be accessible to guests from a height of 95 centimetres, making it particularly well suited for family audiences. As is typical for this coaster type, the train with a capacity of 20 passengers will travel forwards and backwards along the track. The highest point of the layout will reach 28 metres. The second new development is a family freefall tower by Zierer, standing eleven metres tall and located near the new coaster, replacing an existing attraction at the site that will be relocated. Up to ten passengers can be accommodated in the rotating gondola per ride cycle (accompanied from one metre in height, unaccompanied from 1.30 metres).
Both additions, which will be situated within the “lumberjack” themed area, are scheduled to open in summer. The Fleurent family, who have been operating the park from the beginning, is investing a total of seven million euros in the new developments. ■
