(eap) Tomorrow, France’s Parc du Petit Prince in Ungersheim, Alsace, will open two new family attractions. The rides “Z’Hopla” and “Troublion” both take up the theme of aviation and thus link to the world of writer Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.

Z’Hopla is a family drop tower from German manufacturer Zierer, designed as a zeppelin mooring mast. Up to ten people can take a seat in the circular gondola per ride. Guests may ride accompanied from a minimum height of 100 cm and alone from 130 cm. You can read more about this type of ride in the next issue of our magazine.

Troublion is a Magic Bikes ride from Italian manufacturer Zamperla and offers 16 seats. Here, guests are admitted from 90 cm when accompanied and from 120 cm when riding alone. “The two attractions literally lift our guests into the air and give them a new view of the park – very much in the spirit of the Little Prince,” comments Leroy Koevoets, Creative Director of the park.

The new additions form part of extensive renovation and redesign work at the park, which was taken over by the Polish Ptak Group in 2025. At the time, the group had already announced investments in the development and modernisation of the park. Opened in 2014, the park previously belonged to the Paris-based company Aérophile and, under its new owner, is intended to appeal to an even broader audience. The investments are already showing initial results: since the start of the season at the beginning of April, the park has recorded positive visitor development. It is currently said to be ten per cent above its best season to date since the park opened. ■
