UK: Holovis Expands in USA, UK and Ukraine

The British Holovis company revealed its global expansion plans for its locations in the USA, UK and Ukraine. New offices, large-area facilities for mockup-building and demonstration, as well as Research and Development spaces were developed. In Orlando the company acquired an around 650-square metre (7,000 square feet) large warehouse for project builds, demonstration and testing before the attractions get shipped and to avoid construction problems onsite.

To focus on sofware creations Holovis opened a new Development Hub in Kyiv, Ukraine. These creations involve new proprietary platforms and tools to make the interaction of data, places and people working across entertainment, virtual manufacturing, advanced engineering and smart city development easier. As an anchor partner Holovis has joined the so-called The Landing in Media CityUK co-working space for start-ups in the digital creative sector. An addition to this expansion is the new Innovation and Demonstration Centre in Shanghai, which was developed in cooperation with Holovis shareholding partner KingJoy in June 2019. (cf. EAP 5/2019)
