(eap) The British dinosaur adventure park ROARR! in Lenwade, Norfolk, officially opened its latest attraction, “Fossil Falls”, this past weekend. The attraction is a 107-metre-long tubing slide of the “Modislide” product type supplied by Dutch company Swedice. It combines a Neveplast tubing slide with a modular substructure that allows for an individual and adaptable course layout.

Riders descend a vertical drop of 14 metres on inflatable tubes. Along the way, they pass through a twelve-metre-long tunnel before reaching an almost vertical, four-metre-long braking ramp that ensures a controlled run-out. The theoretical capacity is 212 persons per hour using “Medium Tubes” or 390 persons per hour using “Maxi Tubes”.

The park invested a total of 250,000 British pounds (around 294,000 euros) in the new attraction, which expands the offering of the more than 85 acres (approx. 34 hectare) dinosaur park. “Fossil Falls is a fantastic new addition to ROARR! […] We’re always looking at ways to invest in and improve the ROARR! experience for our visitors, and Fossil Falls is a brilliant example of that, adding real value for the families who choose to spend their day making memories with us,” said Park Director Ben Francis. ■
