Zero Latency VR Names JR Huyck Director of Enterprise Expansion
(eap) Zero Latency, provider of location-based virtual reality (VR) experiences headquartered in Australia, has appointed JR Huyck as its new Director of Enterprise Expansion. Huyck brings decades of experience in operations and sales management in the entertainment and food service sectors to the role.
The former competitive bowler’s previous career milestones include leadership roles at US wholesale companies Sysco and US Foods, before returning to the entertainment industry in 2012. Most recently, Huyck worked at QubicaAMF, where he advised operators on building successful bowling attractions. Throughout his career, Huyck has contributed significantly to the modernization and expansion of entertainment venues – e.g. as COO of Andy B’s Entertainment, where he was responsible for large-scale development projects.
“Seeing those big smiles at the end of a great experience – that’s what fuels me,” said Huyck. “The opportunity to bring my operational background and passion for entertainment to Zero Latency is incredibly exciting. Zero Latency’s world-class technology, its people, and its global footprint make it a standout in the broad world of attractions. I’m thrilled to be part of shaping the future of this industry.”
In his new role, Huyck will be responsible for further developing Zero Latency’s global network. The focus will be on growth within large FECs, LBE precincts, commercial developers and special projects. ■
