accesso Acquires AI-based Data Analytics Platform Dexibit
(eap) accesso Technology Group announced the acquisition of Dexibit Limited, a company founded ten years ago in New Zealand that has developed an AI-based data analytics platform for visitor attractions. With the acquisition, accesso is introducing the solution “accesso Intelligence”.
This is a cross-platform application based on Dexibit that can access data within an ecosystem of both the accesso software modules in place and third-party systems. The data is to be connected and analysed using AI in order to enable faster, optimized operational decisions. In light of the increasing complexity of systems and data, as well as rising guest expectations, the ability to generate insights and quickly translate them into action is becoming ever more critical, according to the company.
The information connected through accesso Intelligence includes data from ticketing, food and beverage, retail, operations, weather, visitor reviews, local events, as well as data from third-party and external systems. Insights are made accessible to decision-makers through conversational AI, allowing, for example, an operations manager to ask, “Why did last Saturday underperform?” – and quickly receive an answer in order to make informed decisions. The solution enables actions at both the strategic and operational levels and is designed to feed updates directly into accesso’s ticketing, virtual queuing, and retail systems.
“Putting operators first is at the core of what we do by helping them optimize their business, and AI is now becoming an important part of how we deliver on that. […] We are delighted to welcome the Dexibit team to accesso as we deliver on this vision,” said Steve Brown, CEO of accesso.
Dexibit CEO Angie Judge commented: “I am incredibly proud that Dexibit is joining accesso, whose unparalleled global reach spans the world’s most iconic attractions. As we got to know the team, it genuinely felt like home. Together we can build something genuinely transformative for the industry […]. We can’t wait to get started.” ■
