interbad 2024: 75 Percent of the Exhibition Space Already Booked

Operators and suppliers of adventure pools, spas and water parks are also among the event’s target audience. In its 30th edition, the international trade fair will take place for the first time in the “L-Bank Forum” (Hall 1) this year, the largest hall at Messe Stuttgart with more than 26,000 square meters. Product innovations, developments and new technologies from the pool, wellness, sauna and spa industries will thus be presented together in one large hall – in previous years, the presentation of different product groups was spread over several exhibition halls. Another new feature is that interbad, which is organized by the German Association for the Bathing Industry (Deutsche Gesellschaft für das Badewesen, “DGfdB” in short) together with Messe Stuttgart every two years, will take place over three days this year instead of the previous four. According to the organizers, well-known market leaders in the industry will once again be represented as exhibitors this year, with over 75 percent of the hall space already booked.

“This already strong occupancy rate underlines the industry’s great confidence in interbad,” comments Claudia Döttinger, Member of the Management Board of Messe Stuttgart. “We have responded to the wishes of the industry by relocating and adjusting the duration to three days and look forward to welcoming our visitors to Stuttgart from October 22 to 24, 2024!”

Christian Mankel, Managing Director of DGfdB, emphasizes: “interbad is the industry’s networking event this year. We are therefore delighted that the anniversary trade fair is being held under one roof in Hall 1 for the first time. This offers everyone the opportunity to network and exchange ideas even more directly.”

The European Waterpark Association (EWA) – the Nuremberg-based quality association for leisure pools and water parks in Europe – will also be represented at interbad as usual and will hold its annual general meeting with new board elections on one of the trade show dates. The EWA Awards will also be officially presented to the winners during interbad – member pools of the association can submit their applications for the awards, known as the “Pool Oscars”, until June 1. ■
