Poland: Energylandia Announces Waterpark Expansion with 16 New Slides

In 2018, Poland’s Energylandia amusement park had added a large slide tower (“Tropical Fun”) to its associated “Big Milk” waterpark (cf. EAP 2/2019), and in 2020 the last expansion “Exotic Island” was built in the form of a new funnel slide and a new water play area for children (cf. EAP 1/2021).

Now the park has already announced the next “tropical” stage of expansion, which will extend the water park for the 2022 season: “Bamboo Bay”, another slide tower with 16 further new slides, will be added this summer so that the water zone will include as many as 36 water slides in total in the future. And according to park representatives, this will not be the last expansion of the water park. All new slides will be body slides. In addition to the multitude of slides, the water park zone has a total of five pools and 4,000 sun loungers on the sandy beach.

Thus, the new “Sweet Valley” themed area and the “Wonder Wheel” Ferris wheel will not be the only novelties that visitors will be able to discover in the Polish park this upcoming season. (eap)
