GB: New Zipline Attraction Planned for North Yorkshire Water Park

The North Yorkshire Water Park located on the East coast of Great Britain recently annouced the addition of a new zipline to its visitor attraction offerings. A 13-metre-high tower and the 25-meter-long zipline, supplied by Technical Outdoor Solutions, will be built over the second largest of the park’s overall five lakes. Two new, timber claded climbing walls adorning the tower will be constructed as well.

David Steel, Chief Executive of the Dawnay Estates, to which the park is associated says: “[…] We have invested over 1 million pounds (approx. 1,18 Mio. euros) into the business over the past year, and the zipline is a key part of our vision for the site, which has enjoyed huge popularity particularly this summer since the major expansion of facilities. As well as the zipline and our new climbing walls, we have also recently announced the opening of our new ‘251 Events Room’, adding to our private functions and corporate offering. […]“ The park’s variety of offerings include e.g. sailing, pedalos, kayaking, SUP as well as a floating climbing parcours. North Yorkshire Water Parks plans to put the zipline in operation in early 2022. (eap)
