USA: Disney Springs to Launch New Star Wars Hyper Reality Experience

“Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire” is the name of a new hyper reality experience set to open this year at Disney Springs in Orlando, as announced today by Lucasfilm, ILMxLAB (the “immersive entertainment” arm of the media group, belonging to the Walt Disney Company) and The Void, a company specialized in VR experiences. In the attraction guests will be able to move freely in a virtual Star Wars galaxy and to interact with other players and Star Wars characters. Thanks to the combination of illusion, advanced technology and virtual reality, Star Wars enthusiasts can already look forward to a cutting-edge immersive experience, enabling them to “live” the Star Wars adventure. Beside Disney Springs, California’s Downtown Disney in Anaheim is set to open such an attraction as well.
