Heinz Nixdorf MuseumsForum Paderborn: 1.5 Million Visitors Since Opening

Recently the Paderborn Heinz Nixdorf MuseumsForum (HNF) welcomed its 1.5 millionth visitor. The museum opened in October 1996 (its motto: “More than just the world’s biggest computer museum”) and now notes around 118,000 guests a year. With numerous long-term and special exhibitions, it has made a name for itself well beyond the borders of North Rhine-Westphalia. 2,900 school classes have taken advantage of the museum’s pedagogic offers up to today. In such, the HNF has become both an important educational institution as well as a popular recreational facility. (eap)
