USA: European IAAPA Brass Ring Award Winners 2019

Annually during the IAAPA Expo in Orlando/Florida, the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) confers the “IAAPA Brass Ring Awards“ to park operators and attraction manufacturers.

Among the European award winners, Germany‘s Europa-Park Rust received an award in three categories. The park was honored with the “Most Creative Sports/Stunt Show“ award for its ice skating production “Paddington on Ice – the Grand Voyage“. Also the park was voted 1st place in the category of “Best Employee Reward and Recognition“. In the “Spirit Award“ special category, which is conferred to a person who works behind the scenes, Katja Mack received the award for her contribution to the park‘s show productions.

Also a European award winner is Walibi Holland, which received the award for its Halloween special “Below“ as “Most Creative Halloween Haunt, Show, or Experience“. Another Brass Ring Award went to Sweden’s Gröna Lund for the “Best Digital Marketing Campaign“ for its new thrill attraction “Snake“. Rogaland Fritidspark AS – Kongeparken received the award for “Best Television or Digital Video Commercial – Annual Attendance Less than 250,000“ for its freefall tower experience “Stupet“.
